There are few authors who are famous in the whole world. William Shakespeare is one such legend. Book enthusiasts know Shakespeare very well. Indian legendary poet Kalidasa and William Shakespeare belongs to the same era which is believed to be around 500 years ago. Preserving 500 years old literature is one such big thing. That’s why Shakespeare’s literature is worshiped today. A large number of researches have been done on Shakespeare’s life and his literature.

William Shakespeare’s Life

William Shakespeare was born on 16th April, 1564 and died on 23rd April, 1616. His literature was mainly based upon theatre and he himself was a theatre artist.

Shakespeare married Anne Hathway in 1582. Anne Hathway and Shakespeare used to work together in theatre. She was eight years older than Shakespeare. Their marriage had been the subject of discussion for several days.

William Shakespeare’s Literature

Shakespeare wrote around forty books but only a few among them have become famous like Romeo Juliet, Macbeth, Othello, Julius Caesar, Hamlet, Antony and Cleopatra, etc. His literature was mainly dedicated to theatre. He also became a member of a theatre company so that the company may establish itself by staging the plays written by William Shakespeare.

Shakespeare produced artistic literature as he gained the experience. Earlier, audience used to know him as principal comedian, but later from the year 1603, he started to be known as principal tragedian because he started writing and staging sensitive plays along with comedy. By the year 1608, he was being known as an established litterateur.

He earned much acclaim and income as a theatre artist. It is believed that he used to spend a large amount of his income for Stratford Real Estate which was working to establish a splendid theatre company.  

William Shakespeare’s literature are inspirational for society

The plots of Shakespeare plays were based on vivid problems of society. Shakespeare’s literature has been translated into many major languages of the world and has been included in the course of study in major educational institutions and universities across the world so that the students may learn and get a taste of ancient literature.

Shakespeare has presented assessments of human lives in his literature. With the advent of ego, an individual’s life begins to fall;   Shakespeare has defined this very well.
